Site Visit to Construction Activities in Sermenin within the Framework of the “BalkanVelo” Project.

As part of the "BalkanVelo" project, an inspection was conducted of the ongoing construction activities in the village of Sermenin. The visit included an assessment of the work on the multifunctional facility in Sermenin, which is being renovated and upgraded to provide better conditions for visitors and contribute to the development of the area's tourism offering. At the same time, progress on the new bicycle path—which starts in Sermenin and represents a significant investment in cycling infrastructure and active tourism on Mount Kozhuf—was reviewed. Through the implementation of these activities, the "BalkanVelo" project contributes to improving access to the region's natural and tourism assets, creating better conditions for cyclists and visitors, and promoting sustainable mobility and tourism. Once construction is complete, the project will move on to preparing an interactive map of the bicycle paths and creating virtual tours, allowing visitors to explore the new features and cycling routes in Sermenin digitally.
